Complex areas of civil law practice
By the time a case reaches our firm, it is complicated. It either started that way, or it became difficult as a result of errors that occurred in the trial court proceedings. Our goal is to simplify these difficult cases and resolve them in the best interests of all clients, in the most streamlined and efficient manner possible.
We have a long-range perspective on civil proceedings and we look ahead to the potential post-trial ramifications as we do the following:
- Determine the most efficient legal resolution of the case at trial level
- Seek declaratory judgments when necessary to enforce and protect our clients’ rights
- Use appellate process during pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings to ensure protection of our clients’ rights
- Prepare legal arguments at the trial level for potential appellate issues
- Preserve the trial record for all potential appellate issues
- Guard against reversible error by the trial court
Trial Support and Consultation
Our firm also offers trial support and consulting services to law firms of all sizes, corporations, and individuals on pretrial, trial, and post-trial strategy and procedure; preserving error in the trial court; preparing dispositive motions at all stages of litigation; research and analysis of key legal issues. Experience in the appellate courts, as well as hands-on experience in the trenches of the trial court (full bench and jury trials), provides an ideal vantage point in analyzing a case from start to finish.
Our firm practices in all state and federal appellate and circuit courts throughout Florida, including Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach, Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, Dade County, Miami, Hillsborough County, Tampa, Volusia County, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tallahassee. Our firm also practices in the federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
